Rental Car Cost Compare Privacy Policy

Rental Car Cost Compare helps estimate the total cost of rental car choices for a trip, including rental price, gas, charging, mileage, and visible assumptions. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Information You Enter

The app may store information you enter or select, including trip cities, rental dates, route mileage, vehicle choices, rental prices, fuel or charging prices, saved trips, and cost assumptions.

This information is stored locally on your device using Apple-provided device storage. Rental Car Cost Compare does not send your saved trips or comparison details to Cliftrins or to a Cliftrins server.

Rental Price Estimates

The app may show planning estimates or manual rental quote entries. These estimates are for comparison only and are not guaranteed booking prices. Actual rental, fuel, charging, tax, fee, mileage, and availability details can change and should be confirmed before booking.

Location and Maps

You can enter trip cities manually. When map or routing features are used, route requests may be handled by Apple Maps services under Apple’s terms and privacy practices.

Purchases

If you unlock Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. Rental Car Cost Compare receives purchase status from Apple so Pro features can be enabled. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Tracking and Analytics

Rental Car Cost Compare does not use third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or App Tracking Transparency tracking.

Children

Rental Car Cost Compare is not designed to collect personal information from children.
